The Ghanaian government, in partnership with Norway and UN Habitat, is supporting ten communities to achieve Smart SDG City status. Dzodze is one of these selected communities.
A meeting was held with the traditional leaders of Dzodze to introduce the project and gain their support. The initiative aims to promote sustainable development through digitalization and improved city planning. Key benefits include better education through technology, improved road safety, increased revenue generation, and a cashless economy.
The traditional leaders expressed their enthusiasm for the project and pledged their support, recognizing its potential to drive local development.
The overall goal is to collaborate with the community to successfully implement the Smart SDG City program and foster sustainable growth in the region.
