TREE FOR LIFE REFORESTATION INITIATIVE KICK START IN THE KETU NORTH MUNICIPALITY.

Management Information System Unit

The Management Information System (MIS) Unit is to collect , analyze, and manage information to support the development, management and implementation of policies, programmes and services in the Ketu North Municipal Assembly.

Statistics

Statistics department has been task with the responsibility for all data management and analysis to help inform decisions in the Assembly.

Human Resource

Recruitment, management and providing direction for the people who work in Ketu North Municipal Assembly.

Trade and Industry

We deal with issues related to trade, cottage industry and tourism in the Assembly.

Transport

Formulate and implement policies on transport services within the framework of national policies.

Central Administration

Responsible for ensuring the implementation of governmental policies, projects and programmes at the MMDAs level.

Social Welfare and Community Development

Work in partnership with people in their communities to improve their social well-being through promoting development with equity for the disadvantaged, vulnerable and the excluded.

Food and Agriculture

Responsible for the formulation and implementation of agricultural policy for the Assembly within the framework of national policies.

Health

Assists in the operation and maintenance of all health facilities under the jurisdiction of the regional and district coordinating council.

The Department of Works of the Assembly is a merger of Roads, Water and Sanitation, Estate and Building Units of the Assembly.

Welcome to Ketu North Municipal Assembly

Ketu North Municipal District, also known as Ketu-Dzigbe Municipal District, is one of the eighteen districts in Volta Region, Ghana. It was originally part of the then-larger Ketu District on 10 March 1989, which was created from the former Anlo District Council.

The Northern part of the district was split off to create Ketu North District on 29 February 2008; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Ketu South District. On 15 March 2018, it was elevated to municipal district assembly status to become Ketu North Municipal District. The municipality is located in the southeast part of Volta Region and has Dzodze as its capital town.
