KETU NORTH MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY HOSTS SECOND COHORT OF NVTI EXAMINATIONS

The Business Advisory Centre (BAC) of the Ketu North Municipal Assembly has successfully organized its second cohort of National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) examinations at the Municipal Assembly Hall in Dzodze-Kave.

A total of 43 apprentices sat for the exams, comprising:

  • 21 Hairdressers
  • 20 Dressmakers
  • 2 Tailors

The Municipal Chief Executive, Rev. Martin Prince Kormla Amenaki, graced the examination Centre to encourage the apprentices as they completed their assessments. His presence underscored the Assembly’s commitment to skills development, youth empowerment, and job creation.

Rev. Amenaki commended the apprentices for their dedication and urged them to take full advantage of the NVTI certification, which provides a nationally recognized qualification and enhances employability. He emphasized that vocational training remains a key driver of local economic growth and a pathway to self-reliance.

This initiative builds on the success of the first cohort and reflects the Assembly’s broader vision of supporting entrepreneurship, strengthening the informal sector, and promoting sustainable livelihoods.
