Yesterday, the MP for Ho West and Board Chairman of GETFund, Hon. Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, the Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, attended a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of major infrastructure projects at Afife Senior High Technical School in the municipality.

Established in 1994, revamped in 1998, and absorbed by government in 2003, Afife SHTS has been one of the least resourced schools in the municipality. This intervention aimed to address longstanding infrastructure gaps and improve teaching and learning conditions in the school.

The project includes a two-storey girls’ dormitory with a courtyard, a two-storey boys’ dormitory with a courtyard, a two-storey Administration and Library block, and a 24-seater toilet facility. This development underscores the Resetting Agenda focus on timely payment, strict supervision, accountability, and quality delivery to ensure value for money and lasting impact for the School and the Municipality.
