The Ketu North Municipal Assembly (KNMA) has officially launched the construction of a new Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound and nurses’ quarters at Wuti-Kutsinu, bringing essential primary healthcare services directly to the local community.
Hon. Martin Amenaki, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) led the sod-cutting ceremony, joined by the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, and the Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, marking this critical investment in public health.
This strategic project is designed to reduce travel distances for medical care, specifically targeting improved health outcomes for mothers, children, and the elderly through early disease prevention and prompt treatment.
By prioritizing health infrastructure, the Assembly continues to leverage strong collaboration between regional and local leadership to ensure quality and affordable healthcare is accessible to every resident across the Municipality.
The KNMA will ensure timely completion of the Wuti-Kutsinu CHPS compound and nurses’ quarters, expanding access to quality primary healthcare for vulnerable populations.
