Engagement on Kuli Newtown Local Plan

Engagement on Kuli Newtown Local Plan

The Ketu North Municipal Assembly, through the Honourable Municipal Chief Executive Rev. Martin Amenaki, the Technical Sub-Committee, and the Spatial Planning Committee, held an engagement with Torgbui Avorkliya V and opinion leaders of Kuli to deliberate on matters concerning the preparation and implementation of the Kuli Newtown Local Plan.

This engagement formed part of the Assembly’s broader efforts to ensure that local stakeholders are adequately informed and actively involved in the spatial planning and development of the area.

The objectives of the meeting were to brief the community and opinion leaders on the Kuli Newtown Local Plan, explain its importance in guiding the orderly development of Kuli Newtown, and obtain the views, concerns, and suggestions of residents and other key stakeholders. The session also sought to promote collaboration between the Assembly and the community in the implementation of the plan, while encouraging community support for proper land-use planning and development control.
