The Ketu North Municipal Assembly took a crucial step towards modern governance by completing a mandatory, hands-on training on the Ghana Electronic Procurement System (GHANEPS), facilitated by the Public Procurement Authority on November 18, 2025. The Honorable MCE, MCD and fifteen key staff members from various departments, including Procurement, Finance, Internal Audit, MIS, Budget, HR and Works, were successfully equipped with the technical skills necessary to manage the entire e-procurement lifecycle, from setting up the Procuring Entity and uploading the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) to creating tenders and executing the multi-user Tender Opening (Bid Opening) procedure.

This intensive one-day session ensures the Assembly’s full compliance with national procurement laws, positioning it for efficient, transparent, and seamless electronic operations; the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD) urged all participants to immediately activate their accounts and apply their new expertise to prioritize the essential registration and APP upload tasks for a rapid and effective digital transition.
