In a proactive stride toward public well-being, the Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit, alongside Zoomlion Ketu North, has launched a crucial desilting exercise around the Dzodze Dzesime roundabout. This initiative forms a key part of the department’s mission to control environmental factors that negatively impact health, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all community members.

The joint effort is strategically aimed at preventing localized flooding and mitigating the risk of waterborne diseases that thrive in stagnant water. By clearing the silt, the partners are actively promoting better environmental sanitation and upholding community health through essential maintenance and preventative action.
