THE HON. MCE – HON. REV. MARTIN PRINCE KORMLA AMENAKI EMBARKS ON A FAMILIARIZATION VISIT TO KEY DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES IN KETU NORTH MUNICIPALITY

On April 24, 2025, the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ketu North Municipality, Rev. Martin Prince Kormla Amenaki, conducted a working visit to key departments, agencies, and traditional authorities to foster collaboration, assess challenges, and explore opportunities for improvement.

His visits included the Dzodze District Police Command, where he discussed security concerns such as inadequate personnel and logistical challenges with the Municipal Police Commander. At the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in Penyi, the director congratulated the MCE and sought support for staffing and accommodation.

At the Akanu Border, he engaged with Customs Excise and Preventive Services (CEPS), Ghana Immigration Service (GIS), and Ghana National Fire Service on border control and security, where officials raised concerns about smuggling, human trafficking, and the need for a separate border post.

The Hon. MCE also met with staff from the Health and Education Directorates, encouraging resourceful service delivery. His visit to the Dzodze Traditional Council reinforced his commitment to collaboration, transparency, and community engagement, with the Paramount Chief urging him to prioritize integrity over political influence.

The day concluded with discussions with Meaningful Life, an NGO conducting feasibility studies for mechanized boreholes in five communities. Accompanying the MCE were key municipal officials, including the Municipal Coordinating Director and his aides.
