The Honorable MCE hosted a courtesy visit from the Volta Regional Manager of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Madam Susan Chobbah, which coincided with her official inspection of the Ketu North Municipal NHIA office. Their meeting served to establish a cordial relationship and discuss collaborative strategies for promoting the NHIA’s objectives in the municipality.

A key concern raised during the discussion was the deplorable state of the current NHIA office and the urgent need to complete the permanent office structure, which is about 80% complete. The MCE assured the Regional Manager of his commitment to engaging the contractor and identifying solutions to expedite the project, underscoring their shared dedication to improving local healthcare accessibility.
