KETU NORTH MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY LEADS SUCCESSFUL INDEPENDENCE DAY CLEAN-UP IN DZODZE

In commemoration of Ghana’s 68th Independence Anniversary, the Ketu North Municipal Assembly spearheaded a comprehensive clean-up exercise in Dzodze, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and community well-being.

This initiative, executed on the anniversary date, brought together a diverse range of stakeholders, reflecting a unified effort to enhance public sanitation. Participating entities included personnel from the Ketu North Municipal Assembly, security agencies, Zoomlion Ghana Limited sanitation workers, representatives from political parties, residents, and volunteer groups.

The exercise focused on addressing critical sanitation challenges within Dzodze, specifically targeting waste removal and drainage desilting. The collective efforts of all participants resulted in a significant improvement in the cleanliness and hygiene of the targeted areas.

The event was marked by the presence of key dignitaries, including Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, Member of Parliament for the Ketu North Constituency, Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. Jasper Kudzo Adenyo, former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Hon. Lawson, Hon. Assembly Members, and aspiring MCE candidates. Their participation underscored the importance of collaborative leadership in driving community development and environmental sustainability.

The Ketu North Municipal Assembly reaffirms its commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy environment for all residents.
