As part of efforts to ensure a healthy sexual relationship at the workplace, Management of Ketu North Municipal Assembly through the Human Resource Management Department on Wednesday 7th June, 2023, held a Capacity Building Workshop on the topic Sexual Harassment at the Workplace for the staff at the Municipal Assembly Hall.
The objective of the workshop was to provide first hand information on what constitute Sexual Harassment, increase awareness on the prevalence of Sexual Harassment at workplaces and to educate staff on the procedures of addressing Sexual Harassment grievances.
The workshop was also to remind staff on the commitment of the Local Government Service to handle issues bothering on Sexual Harassment and create a congenial working atmosphere at all times to all staff.
The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Jasper Adenyo, took staff through;

- Evolution of Sexual Harassment
The Municipal Coordinating Director, used the opportunity to advice staff particularly the females to dress decently and also encourage all staff to report any form of Sexual Harassment or sexual abuse to their superiors.
Present at the workshop included, The Departments of Central Administration, Finance, Social Welfare and Community Development, Agriculture, Physical Planning, Works, Statistics, Information Services, Human Resource Management and Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit. In all, a total of 45 staff (17 males and 28 females) representing 45.5% participated in the training workshop.
