The Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit of the Ketu North Municipal Assembly, in its ongoing commitment to disease prevention, conducted a clean-up operation in Dzodze township on March 20, 2025. This initiative, designated “Operation Clean Drains/Gutters,” focused on clearing debris from drainage systems to ensure proper water flow and mitigate health risks associated with stagnant water.

The operation targeted specific areas within Dzodze, including the vicinity opposite the old Dzodze N.D.C. office and the stretch from the Dzesime roundabout to the Ghana store. This activity was carried out in accordance with regulation 2.1 of the Ketu North District Assembly (Sanitation) Bye-laws, 2010, underscoring the legal framework supporting the assembly’s sanitation efforts.
