The Honorable MCE met with the Dzodze Drivers’ Union to address the challenges posed by roadside passenger loading on traffic flow and public safety within the Municipality. Following careful deliberations, the parties reached a unanimous and firm resolution to immediately prohibit all roadside loading.

This new directive mandates that all drivers must operate strictly from designated lorry stations to ensure improved discipline, enhance passenger safety, and promote efficient transport operations in Dzodze and its environs. The Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with the Drivers’ Union and the Police, will work hand-in-hand to enforce this crucial resolution.
