The Honourable MCE, accompanied by a dedicated team from the Education Directorate, visited Twelve Basic Schools within the municipality as part of the nationwide “My First Day at School” initiative aimed at encouraging early enrolment. As a key strategic step to motivate young learners and parents, each newly admitted kindergarten pupil received a special package containing essential items like biscuits, a pencil, and an exercise book from the Assembly.

The MCE and his team were warmly received by teachers, whose positive response reflected the significant impact such gestures had in boosting morale and fostering a positive attitude of both teachers and pupils. The successful execution of the programme underscores the Assembly’s commitment to supporting early childhood education and aligning with its broader vision of investing in the proper development of human resources in Ketu North Municipality.
