The Honourable MCE hosted the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Hon. Sam Nartey George, and his entourage at the Amissah Arthur Learning Centre, Ohawu, where the Girls in ICT workshop is currently underway. The Minister’s significant and inspiring visit allowed him to assess the ongoing training and encourage the students to embrace the valuable opportunity to pursue careers in computer science, programming, and IT.

The MCE, who was proud that Ketu North was the Minister’s first visit, was also joined by the CEO of GIFEC and the Volta Regional Minister, all of whom motivated the young participants. The MCE expressed sincere appreciation to the hardworking Member of Parliament, Hon. Edem Agbana, for initiating and leading this vital effort to empower the youth with relevant digital skills for the future.
