The Honourable MCE has initiated a Public-Private Partnership with Modern Construction Company, an Accra-based firm, to execute two major commercial projects aimed at transforming the local economy and establishing a legacy in Ketu North. The first project involves demolishing the dilapidated stores at the Dzodze Old Market entrance and replacing them with a modern three-storey shopping facility to revitalize economic activity and boost business confidence.

To advance the projects, a team of Engineers from the company recently visited the Municipality to assess the Dzodze Old Market site and inspect the 50.2-acre location for the proposed ECOWAS Market Complex near the Akanu border. This Regional trading hub is envisioned as a fully equipped modern facility featuring necessary amenities like Police Posts, Fire Stations, and Sleeping Quarters, with architectural designs now immediately underway.
