The Ketu North Municipal Education Oversight Committee led by the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive Rev. Prince Martin Amenaki together with the Municipal Coordinating Director Jasper Adenyo in collaboration with staff of the Municipal Education Directorate engaged relevant stakeholders of Dzodze Central R.C School on Tuesday 22nd July 2025, at the School premises.
This pivotal engagement, the first of its kind underscores the unwavering commitment of Municipal Education Oversight Committee to ascertain the root causes of the dwindling performance of the School in recent times, profess pragmatic measures and interventions aimed at reversing the downward trend, and finally institute initiatives to transform the education landscape in the municipality.
Present at the engagement meeting were the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive Rev. Prince Martin Amenaki who doubles as the Chairman of the Committee, the Municipal Coordinating Director Jasper Adenyo, Rev Father Peter Ashiagbor, the Parish Priest of Dzodze Central Catholic Church, Members of the Ketu North Municipal Education Oversight Committee, Staff of the Municipal Education Directorate, Traditional Rulers from Afeyime and Afiadenyigba, Assembly Members from Afetefe, Afeyime and Kpordoave, Opinion Leaders, Teachers and Parents.



In his presentation, the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive reechoed a strong collective and holistic effort bolstered by effective collaboration with relevant stakeholders such as the Government, Non-Governmental Organizations, Traditional Rulers, Community leaders, Teachers, Parents and Students as critical actors in promoting and providing inclusive and accessible quality education in the municipality.
The meeting ended with some pledges and an urgent clarion call for renewal sense of commitment from all the relevant stakeholders to address the teasing challenges confronting the school and help uplift the school from its current predicament. This included:


- Hon. Assembly Members undertaking to ensure that the school environment is rid of miscreants.
- The Traditional Authorities and Assembly Members to form Community Watch Committees to ensure the school environment is safe.
- The Church was encouraged to harvest rain water from the two Chapels to prevent the waterlogged area.
- The Church should consider providing gates to prevent people from using the school compound as a thorough fare.
- Pledges of Cement bags and Gravels were made by the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive and Togbui Adzenu III for the construction of a U-Drain that passes through the school premises.
