The Municipal Chief Executive acknowledged the challenges faced by farmers in Ketu North, particularly due to climate change and poor soil quality. To mitigate these challenges, the municipality is promoting sustainable agricultural practices like crop diversification, agroforestry, and improved water management.

Other award winners were recognized for their contributions in various categories, including crop farming, female farming, veteran farming, youth farming, and agricultural staff.
