The Ketu North Municipal Assembly’s Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit organized 2022 annual Seminar for all Public Food Handlers (Food Vendors, Operators of eateries and restaurants, Butchers, Millers, etc) – all those who have a hand in food/drink meant for public consumption in the Ketu North Municipality.
The exercise was to achieve the following purpose:
- Sensitization on the health issues affecting public food handlers, vendors and waiters/waitresses identified in the previous year’s Medical Screening Exercise.
- Health, Hygiene, Nutrition and Sanitation education.
- Interact with public food handlers on the modality of the 2022 medical screening.
- Community Mobilization for the 2022 Annual Medical Screening.
