As part of effort to ensure effective and efficient operation of Small Community Water Supply Systems, the Management of Ketu North Municipal Assembly on Wednesday 14th June, 2023, inaugurated three (3) Small Community Water Supply Boards for the Penyi, Ehi and Tadzewu communities in the Ketu North Municipality.
This was in fulfillment of the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA) guideline governing the effective and efficient operation of Small Communities’ Water Supply Systems.


The Boards are expected to provide oversight responsibilities to ensure that the water supply systems in the three communities ensure regular flow of water to serve the needs of residents of their respective communities.
At a short ceremony held in the Conference Hall of the Ketu North Municipal Assembly, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Anthony Avorgbedor said the importance of water in the performance of human daily activities cannot be overemphasized and that the availability and constant water supply would guarantee quality standard of living of indigenes of the communities.
He charged the Board members to bring their skills and experiences to bear in order to ensure the express functionality of the water supply systems. He assured them that the Assembly would continue to provide the necessary technical backstopping and training to enable the various Boards deliver on their mandates.
Members of the various Community Water Supply System Boards were duly inaugurated after taking both the Oath of Office and Oath Secrecy.



Present at the ceremony were the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Anthony Avorgbedor, Mr. Yanick Noah Agboado – Assistant Director I, Mrs Gabriella Dopi Ketemepi – Assistant Director IIB, Miss Victoria Klenam Saku – Assistant Development Planning Officer and Mr. Enoch Morgan- National Service Person.
