The Ketu North Municipal Assembly’s Business Advisory Center (BAC) hosted a successful entrepreneurship and mindshift training program on Thursday, June 6th, 2024. This initiative, part of the ongoing Bixbox projects, aimed to equip residents with the necessary skills and mindset to thrive in the business world.
The training catered to a diverse group of 187 beneficiaries, encompassing individuals from various programs:
- Apprenticeship
- Entrepreneurship
- Agriculture Agribusiness to Entrepreneurship (AA2E)
- Skilled Craft Persons (SCP)
- MSME Business Acceleration (MBA)
By incorporating such a wide range of programs, the BAC ensured the training addressed the specific needs of aspiring entrepreneurs, established business owners, and those seeking to transition from skilled crafts into full-fledged businesses.
The focus on both entrepreneurship and mindshift is a key strength of this program. Participants likely gained valuable knowledge in areas like business planning, marketing, and financial management. The mindshift component, however, is equally important. It could have addressed topics like overcoming challenges, building resilience, and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit.
This initiative by the Ketu North Municipal Assembly demonstrates a commitment to empowering its residents and fostering a vibrant business ecosystem within the region. Equipping individuals with the tools and mindset to succeed as entrepreneurs has the potential to create jobs, promote economic growth, and improve the overall well-being of the community.
